Philip Townsend is a photographer that captured the essence of the Sixties and this tied into my project as I am doing about Mods. He took the first pictures of the Rolling Stones before they had a record contract and this exhibition was in line with his new book that is out now called "Mister Sixties"
I found it really interesting to look around at all this different photographs, I could really imagine being in the Sixties and witnessing everything that was happening. It was really nice aswell to visit an exhibition that wasn't like a tradtionally musuem or gallery in the sense that it was on our uni campus.
The only disappointing thing about the exhibition was the lack of images of Mods, there was only one however I shall defiantly be referring to Philip Townsend in my project.
