On the 7th May 2010 me and my friend, Anais, went to see
Rihanna at the LG Arena in Birmingham - it was amazing, she absolutely
KILLED it! We managed to get pretty much right near the front (we get lucky like that) so had a great view which was good as there was so much to see.
The stylists,
Mariel Haenn and
Robert Zangardi, did an amazing job throughout the concert with some incredible costume changes. Here are some of my favourites;
This outfit is so beautiful, she donned the Mickey Mouse helmet later and sung her hit song "Hard" - It was so feminine but really packed a punch.

At first I thought this outfit was, like most of them, really daring but it was in fact an all in one!! It really flattered her figure and Rihanna really rocked out in it.

I've included this because I love the set, it is a massive gun that came down from the ceiling and the dancers were dancing through it, it was so captivating. Rihanna used this set piece to perform her song "Te Amo"

This outfit was her last costume change, it remind me very much of Gareth Pugh's work - very structured. It was amazing just as it was but this outfit had one last hidden trick up it's sleeve....

Yes!! the sleeves had inflatable striped balls in them! It was incredible and you didn't expect it at all.

Overall this was one of the best concerts I have been to and would definitely recommend everyone needs to see Rihanna live at least once! She sings
live, dances (her famous butterfly dance) and really puts on a show! even playing the drums!!
What a talented fashion icon!!
Rihanna is definitely a fashion icon because she isn't afraid to be herself which is really inspiring as no one should be afraid to act like themselves because they are worried what people will say or think.
