Jeremy Scott for Adidas

This is an image I can across whilst doing the draping project and I fell in love with it for two reasons:

1) It's Adidas my favourite sports brand.
2) It's not your typical sportswear.

I think the collaboration between Jeremy Scott and Adidas is really inspiring. It takes sportswear to the next level.

Drapery!

Today we got our marks back for our drapery and jacket projects.... and that is all I'm gonna say on that subject!

However I will uploaded a few pictures of my final draped piece - the hoodie. I am so pleased with how the hoodie turned out because I thought sportswear and drapery will not merge well. Enjoy!

(P.S thanks to Kayleigh Dean for modelling for me once again)

My Future

Fda Fashion is coming to an end this year, which is pretty scary! Everyone has been thinking about what their next step is: whether to go out and find a job or to carry on and do 3rd year either at Bournemouth or elsewhere!

I have known for a while that I want to do my 3rd year somewhere else, Birmingham!
Last week I had an interview there to do the Garment Technology. I was soo nervous because I had left some of my work at home and it was my future on the line. The next day I got a phonecall saying that

I GOT IN!!

So Birmingham City here I come!

In order to prepare for the interview I took my portfolio into uni for Sarah to have a look at and Jamie looked at it too. They gave me lots to do and pointers to take forward in the future so that was really helpful. This is one of the boards that I totally re-did for my portfolio and I'm glad I did put in the work because it looks a lot better. Here you go:

Arghh!

Yet again I have forgotten all about updating my blog! I am seriously useless at this but this has got to stop so from now on I am going to make sure I update this regularly.

Fingers crossed!
